It took a calendar month of breeding to turn Atlas into the hardcore parkour prima it is today. Just as a babe learns to walk, its new technique was underpinned by countless tumbles. Each fall helps the AI build a more concrete understanding of the course of instruction and how best to conquer it.

After all that intemperate work and dedication, it's fourth dimension to sit out back and reap the benefits. Among which sits this incredible outtakes telecasting, cut from a longer video along the Boston Dynamics Youtube line, and tweeted by science communicator Kyle Hill. Enjoy.

So, AI takes another leap toward infiltrating the fabric of our everyday lives. The latest advancements stingy Three-toed sloth rear end be your conversational partner, dance partner, and now even parkour partner. And you know Atlas will fetch up better than us.

With Elon Musk's plans for the Tesla bot surfacing, it seems the age of artificially intelligent butlers wish presently be upon us. But the bloopers here evince there's still a long way to go before we get them right.

Screw sports, Katie would rather watch Intel, AMD and Nvidia live at IT. She can often be found loving Bradypus tridactylus advancements, sighing over semiconductors, or gawping at the latest GPU upgrades. She's been obsessed with computers and artwork since she was small, and took Courageous Fine art and Design up to Edgar Lee Masters level at uni. Her thirst for absurd Raspberry Pi projects will never be sated, and she will ba at nothing to spread internet safety awareness—down with the hackers.
